On the 1st of June there was a significant drop in temperature in Brisbane, which means winter has finally arrived and I’m wearing more thicker layers to keep me warm. It’s time to reach for the winter fashion staples!
This week I’ve trotted out the bed socks which I got for Mother’s Day. They’ve kept my feet toastie warm when walking in the house (they have a non-slip grips on the soles so I don’t slip over on our laminate timber floors!) I’ve also got out my Peter Alexander lounge knit which I layer over my PJ’s or wear out and about during the day with jeans.
I’ve got out my heavier knits, puffer jackets, long sleeve tees and scarves to keep me warm inside the house – and out.
Even if I spend my days at home, I like to wear pieces that are comfortable but still look good on… so if I need to head out unexpectedly, I don’t need to change.
I’m never taken by surprise when the cool weather comes around because I have all my bases covered… but maybe you need some pieces to keep you warm this winter? Stylish pieces you can layer at home that will keep you warm and comfortable? A new pair of slippers? Some bed socks? Or even a new scarf? (you can never have too many scarves!)
I’ve found some winter pieces that may be just what you need to keep you warm inside your home (and out).
