These cosy bright coloured scarves will cheer you up and keep you toasty this winter! The drop in temperature across Australia will have you reaching for this layer.
It’s officially become scarf weather with the crazy drop in temperature this week!
While road tripping down the east coast of NSW, I had a scarf draped around my neck to keep me warm and toasty! I love a scarf with tassels, pom poms and a gorgeous bright coloured pattern to add brightness.
My scarf collection has grown over the years. I love how a scarf can elevate a simple jeans and long-sleeved tee outfit. It can also add a bit of colour to a knit which needs a bit of extra texture and injection of colour.
They are also an affordable layer to purchase when budgets are tight and there’s a yearning to add something new to the wardrobe.
A bright coloured scarf can certainly add cheer to an outfit, especially when the weather is miserable outside. These ones certainly fit the bill and will keep you warm and toasty no matter what the weather decides to unleash.

How to wear a bright coloured scarf
Here are some versatile ways to wear your scarf this winter
- Drape across the shoulders like a cape and cinch in the waist with a belt
- Wrap around your neck, allowing the ends to hang across the bust
- Cross over your scarf with one end at the front and the other draped over your shoulder
- Layer over a basic knit and jeans or long sleeved tee and jeans combo
- Colour block – layer your scarf over a different coloured knit for a colour block effect
- Colour match – if your scarf is a different shade to your knit but in the same tones, layer /clash them together for a tonal look
