Dresses are a favourite staple in my wardrobe. I have all varying lengths of dresses in my wardrobe, but one of the common lengths would be the midi length style. In today’s post, I wanted to share with you some boho midi dresses with sleeves I came across while researching where you could buy Boho Maxi Dresses in Australia.

How to choose the right Boho Midi Dress for you

No matter your height, there will be a Boho Midi Dress perfect for you. The length of the dress will be key, and ideally you will want the hem of the dress to finish at the top of your calf or just after the knee. This will give the illusion of more leg showing and elongate your look.

Choosing a dress with an A-line skirt will also flatter. If you find a billowing midi dress, opt to go a size lower if it fits up top.

Maggie was most excited as the pieces sent fit her best and immediately she wanted to get active in her new outfit.

Tips for Creating Workwear Outfits from a Casual Wardrobe

Are you looking for tips creating workwear outfits from a casual wardrobe? Here’s what I did to curate outfits for work without too much outlay.

Corporate wear has changed significantly over the last 18 months with most swapping suit trousers to soft pants while working from home.

I’ve curated my wardrobe over the years so it can blend everyday outfits with going out attire.

But recently I upped my game with my workwear.

Our workplace is smart casual, and because most of us work from home, the workwear guide is quite relaxed.

However, when going for an interview or a higher level position, dressing for the part is necessary for making an impression. It can also help with mindset.

I added a few pieces to intermix with existing items in my wardrobe to create key corporate outfits I can wear when heading into the office or the city. Dressing the part has elevated my mindset, even if I’ve felt out of my comfort zone learning a new job.

If you do work in a job where going to the office is a requirement a few times a week, look at what clothes you already own which can transition to workwear.

Black, white and navy always look sharp for corporate wear.
Adding leopard print or embracing details via different textures can add interest to an outfit
Black pants are versatile… but what black pants do you already own which can transition to workwear? I got rid of my black pants years ago due to them not fitting and I didn’t reach for them as much as I thought. Last winter, I bought a pair of black pleather pants from Sussan, which finally had their debut at work this winter.
A blazer can instantly elevate an outfit for the office.
Invest in good quality leggings/tights for winter to wear with boots and flats.
If gaping holes on button blouses make you self-conscious, invest in blouses with no buttons at the front. Witchery has great options on sale right now.
Tie a fabric belt around a collared shirt or dress to create a necktie

Colourful Knit Scarves to Brighten Your Winter Outfit

It’s officially scarf weather and if the current forecasts are correct, it’s going to be a cold winter. Which is saying something for QLD as it tends to be a mild winter.

The scarves and beanies may come out to keep us warm. Anything below 20 degrees is winter in Brisbane.

And so, now is the time to take stock of your scarves. They are an affordable way to add interest, warmth and colour to your winter outfit.

Scarves are also an accessory which can be swapped on various outfits to create a whole new look.

I’ve been on the hunt for some bright coloured knit scarves to layer over my bold coloured cardigans and jumpers. Here are some of my favourites I’ve found online. I may have also added some to cart.
