Winter Frills – It’s All About The Frill Details on Knits and Long Sleeves

Easter is usually a key point in the year where the weather will usually start to get cooler, and I will be longing to wear a few pieces from my winter wardrobe. While there are many prints and colours I’d like to invest in this winter, one firm favourite trend that I want to see more of in my wardrobe is the frill. Frilly knits were big last year, and they have made their appearance again this season.

The frills can be seen on the sleeves – on the arm or at the wrist, or across the chest.

Even though it may be too hot to wear these pieces right now, jumpers and knits with frill details are being presented from many online and brick and mortar stores.

I’m hoping to embrace this trend soon, and so I’ve compiled a few winter frill pieces that have caught my eye.

That last rose knit would be my favourite out of the collection. I love the subtle red colour and the frills make this knit very feminine. It would also replace my favourite possum fur knit that was attacked by moths last year.

Are you thrilled about winter frills this season? Are frills your thing or a trend you will be steering clear of?
