On Saturday night I went to my husband’s work Christmas Party. Any night out with my husband and getting the kids babysat is a night worth dressing up for. Usually I would buy something new for a Christmas Party but this year I shopped… in my own wardrobe.
I styled an outfit you’ve already seen but just changed the accessories and decided to do the monochrome look.
What I Wore:
I wore my Decjuba Black and White oversize wrap with a black tank top, black cotton skinny jeans and black wedges. I layered two black and white pearl bead necklaces around my neck to dress the look up and I wore my Zebra print hoop earrings.
The Christmas Party was a catered Spit Roast at a colleague’s home. I was a tad overdressed for the occasion but I was comfortable and I prefer to be overdressed than underdressed.
This wrap can be accessorized to create different outfits and I love that the one size fits all accommodates those extra kilos I’ve been trying lose.
Decjuba has a range of other patterns in the same wrap. I love this Chevron Patterned one. Here is a way to incorporate this style into your own wardrobe.
1. Decjuba Carolyn Oversize Wrap $89.95
2. StyleTread Top End Clinker Black $139.95
3. Sussan Evening Sateen Pant $79.95
4. I Love Lola Necklace Tribal Princess Pink $59.95
5. Decjuba Black Tank Seamless $15.00
Have you been to your work Christmas Party yet and what did you wear? Are you like me and sometimes buy something new for the special occasion?
I’m linking up with Essentially Jess for I Blog on Tuesdays.
